Pieni omenapiirakka | Tiny apple pie

 Ainesosat:

2 dl vehnäjauhoja
1 tl vaniljasokeria
1 tl leivinjauhetta
1 tl kardemummaa
2 tl kanelia
½ dl sokeria
½ dl maitoa
½ dl kookosöljyä

1 tl vaniljasokeria
1 iso omena
siirappia
vaniljakastiketta
TAI jäätelöä
 Ingredients:

2 dl wheat flour
1 ts vanilla sugar
1 ts baking powder
1 ts cardamom
2 ts cinnamon
½ dl sugar
½ dl milk
½ dl coconut oil

1 ts vanilla sugar
1 big apple
syrup
vanilla sauce
OR ice cream

It takes about 45-60 minutes to prepare this pie. The pie I made was made into a tiny (diameter 20 cm) dish, so in case you have the regular pie dish, I suggest you to add everything double! I figured out this recipe all by myself once I wanted to have a really tasty apple pie. Now afterwards I could say that I could even have added more of spices, but however, this was the best apple pie I myself had ever tasted. :)

I began by mixing all the dry powders of the upper list together, and after that, I added yet milk and soft coconut oil to the dough. Once this was done, I mixed the dough well and put 2/3 of it into the dish. Remember to spread some butter or coconut oil all over the dish before, though! On the top of the dough in the dish I spread apple chopped into tiny cubes - however, leave at least 1/4 of the apple uncut as we want to use the remaining part for decorating the upper layer. :)

Once you have spread the cubes, chop the leftover apple into thin slices and spread them on the lower layer. As I had pretty little dough left, I used it to cover the area outisde the apple slices, ie. to cover the yet visible underlayer. Before baking the pie in oven at 175° for a little over 30 minutes, I yet added pinces of cinnamon and cardamom on the apples and one more teaspoon of vanilla sugar and drops of syrup here and there over the pie. I did not pay attention to the exact baking time, but basically, the pie is ready once it is well brown but not burnt. As I got the idea for this pie slightly all of sudden, we were lacking some vanilla sauce or ice cream to serve the pie with, but maybe you will remember it now that I mentioned it!
